PlayUp Ltd becomes official cricket wagering partner with News Ltd
The Australian wagering company has partnered with Australia’s largest media organisation leading up to ICC World Cup and Ashes tournaments.
SYDNEY, May 28, 2019 – PlayUp Ltd, Australia’s sole provider of both Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and wagering competitions, has announced its partnership with Australian media conglomerate News Ltd.
PlayUp will be the official wagering and fantasy partner of News for cricket, via its subsidiary platforms TopBetta, Mad Bookie, ClassicBet (wagering), Draftstars and PlayUp Fantasy (DFS).
The announcement comes before the hugely anticipated ICC World Cup to be held in England and Wales, which commences on May 30th when England host South Africa.
Australia are one of the favourites to win the competition, and will return to the country in August to take on the old enemy in this year’s much-vaulted Ashes series. Australia will also host three countries over the 2019/20 home season, with Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zealand all slated to tour the country.
PlayUp CEO Daniel Simic hailed the significance of the partnership in promoting the PlayUp brand both domestically and internationally.
